Youth Hoops
Youth Hoops is a 8-week instructional co-ed Basketball program for 2nd-9th graders. We currently have 3 divisions: 2nd-4th grade, 5th & 6th grade, and 7th-9th grade.
Practices are held one day a week — on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays — according to your child’s age and grade. Practices take place in the evening. We encourage both boys and girls to register!
We offer both a Fall and a Spring session. Games are held on Sundays, beginning in the 4th week and continuing through the 8th week of the program.
The goal of the program is to provide a positive atmosphere where every child can participate on a team while gaining valuable skills. Refer to our flyer for more information.

Afterschool Program
This year, we’re thrilled to offer an enriching array of activities designed to spark creativity and provide valuable experiences for our students. With our community partnerships with WPI and UMASS Chan, we’re bringing you a dynamic range of clubs and programs to explore – including cooking, STEAM, art, gardening and tutoring!
The program runs Monday-Friday from 2:30-5:30 pm, and we provide nutritious meals each day.
We do not offer transportation; however, we provide pick-up services for students from Grafton Street School and Chandler Magnet. For additional information please reference our tuition sheet and program calendar.

Teen Leadership
Students in grades 11-12 can register for the Friendly House Teen Leadership Program, which focuses on community service, college readiness, and career preparation. Participants will receive personalized support with goal-setting, FAFSA assistance, and help with resume and cover letter writing. Meetings will be held monthly over Zoom, and there will be one in-person service day each month, scheduled over the weekend. There is an income requirement and a registration process for those interested in applying. Participants must commit to attending all monthly meetings and service days.
